You know, sometimes it comes as a surprise when you realize you're "grown up". When did that happen? It truly is a gift to realize that you're a pretty okay person, both inside and out. You do know how rare that is, right?
Now, Madeline Kahn? I am SO there with you. LOVED her* (Ohhhh Sweet Mystery of Life I've finally found youuuuuu). *And yes I could (and frequently do) go on.... and on....

I'm so happy to hear that you can feel genuine happiness again. You are such an amazing woman and you DESERVE it!
And you have made a difference. For years now I've felt so lucky that I've known you - even if it is mostly online. You are one of the rare "real" people out there and I LOVE your honesty.
Wouldn't want you to be anyone but you!

What a great post, Jen. I think that what's great about today's day and age that women really are more remarkable and interesting as they get older. I mean, who's going to listen to a 25 year old talk about the great lessons in life? With each generation, we're doing more as we get older rather than just staying at home and watching TV.
