swaps always kind of confuse me. do you swap with the person you are knitting for? get some great toes and enjoy the final week of 39. screw the stupid swapper.

I think you should complain b/c they shouldn't let people back in that don't participate. How awful that this has happened to to you...yet again. Where's karma?

I have to admit, I have never participated in these knitting related swaps, because I've been screwed over in gift swaps at work so many times. Last time I participated in a Christmas angel thing at work last year, a gal who was a failed Mary Kay rep gave me a DARK shade of MK makeup base for a gift - huh? That was nothing like what was on my list but obviously something she had left over from her attempts at MK sales. And incidentally, my skin is ivory, not olive. Those exchanges just don't work out for me either.
