Hell, why even have primaries if this confusing 'set' of voting, different in so many states exists ? I thought these were the 'United States'? I would think we would have to 'declare' a party for the primaries to guage the final two candidates or so. Even the Independents should have an Independent candidate. This is all so crazy. Even Florida and Michigan, sovereign states can't even vote when they want. Let's face it my fellow citizens, there are many powerful parties in America. But we all know the most powerful one don't we...? The Cocktail !
The Biggest question I have is why hasn't Kuwait and Iraq given us 'free' oil for saving their asses?
If we are going to 'stay' there..Let's at least have a few oil fields that are ours in 'payment' to 'defend' our 'way of life'... I thought that's where the oil is? Why are our prices going up when our young brave men and women are 'going down'....Thanks for this time.

Crossover appeal? I think not... Republicans are voting in the Democratic primary in order to derail Clinton. I have seen this all over the web as of late. The conservative point of view being that McCain is the nominee - love him or hate him - it is a fact. So why not accomplish something with your vote and throw a wrench in the works for Clinton. That is not to say that there has not been crossover for both Clinton and Obama from the ranks of the moderate
right. There certainly has been, but the conservatives are attempting to do what they do ... manipulate elections. Consider this ... is a Clinton/Obama ticket beatable - No - is a Obama/Edwards ticket beatable - Yes - heres why, Clinton/Obama pulls very strong across the moderate thru the liberal voting pool. There is very little not to like for them. With the perceived similarities between McCain and Clinton the ultra conservative base stays home in the general. They are disgusted and they want everybody to know it. With any ticket with Obama on top (unlikely to be Obama/Clinton ticket) the conservative base comes out in droves ... he scares them. They don't like her but they know her ... he is a wild card. In addition, with Obama there will be a loss of moderates to the moderate McCain. I know this because I am one of them. If Obama is the nominee I will vote for McCain. While I may believe that Obama
might make a good President - I don't KNOW it and right now I don't think we can afford to make a mistake. The Obama wave of populism is more about emotion than common sense.
