ooh, i love that! i've been on the hunt for a good DPN case pattern. Not sure i'm entirely clear on how it closes, though.

these are fantastic. my mom made me a case for christmas one year based on the debbie stoeller pattern and I love it. I really like what you did to make the circular case, ideas ideas...
I saw the swatch portraits last year on their site, and have since kept an eye out for embroidery hoops in thrift shops.

Just discovered your wonderful blog from a comment you left elsewhere....can't remember. I'm so glad I did. Love your blog. The clean design, the great knitting and writing.....great work. Additionally, now that I know someone else lives so close to the LYS that they don't bother to look for the lost 5th dpn....when you could just pop over and get a new set....makes me happy to know I"m not the only one.
Definitely doing the lost-needles dance with you - I'm the worst with just flopping them down wherever and wondering why (in a huff) I can't find them later. Want to make the circulars case and make it now!
Am super-inspired by the fabric links you included; this is the kind of thing I should browse more often, considering the level of giddy squeals expressed when I do. Loving the Sew, Mama, Sew! and the Erin McMorris! and thinking I must have the Stitch magazine subscription, and have it now.
Thanks for giving my sewing machine a flicker of hope that she'll see some action at some point over the holidays.
