There is something about soothing about greys and your collection is perfect. I think I might fall into that grey phase soon, after am done with the reds that am currently on.
OMG! Chicago and London must have the same kinds of cloud cover! I also have been collecting gray yarn. I have that exact felted tweed - and a Porom is a fantastic idea!
Gotta run, time to pop the antidepressants to keep seasonal affective disorder at bay!
we've got the grey skies here, too. just about every day. though today the sun shone and it just made everything feel a bit happier.

Dark, rainy days - well, they only make you appreciate the shiny crisp ones that much more, right? The common misperception is that we're sunshining it up out here in California all the time, but really the weather during winter doesn't differ by much from the UK, at least not in the northern part where I live now...it's cold and wet, here, too.
But with far fewer proper pubs to duck into when you've forgotten your brolly.
Can't wait to see your grey creations.
