I agree, to some extent, but I don't think that it only involves the destructive behavior. Traditionally, death and birth dreams indicate the "death" and "birth" of new phases in your life or major changes. Not that every dream has to be interpreted traditionally. Some dreams are eeeasily solved because you know you have a specific thing in your life it was pointing to. But every dream I've had involving either of those two events has pointed to exactly that.

On that basis, I think that it's a sign overall of a major shift in your life. It does include the drinking aspect, yes, but also I think just undergoing a massive change in your life. Being scared, not understanding, not feeling in control. And then going through a transformation. Coming out the other side of drunkenness, but also grief.

Your father is there for you. And your family loves you. And I know you will be okay.
