The knitting is gorgeous! And I am in love with the photo of your dog!!! I keep going back to it. All your photos are beautiful, as usual, and your writing. We are having similar weather patterns here. And the honeysuckle is definitely in the air! I began crocheting a mermaid last evening for the studio window... ocean theme. I wish I was where you are!

Rebecca, your writing is story-telling at its best...so lyrical and sweet. Lovely flower pictures, lovely views and a very darling little dog. You put love in to each and every word. That's why I totally relish in your blog. Oh, and your yarn color is heavenly, too.

Love the photo of the dog... brings back good memories: when I was born, my parents had a red setter. He was only 6 months old at the time so we grew up together and he was such a laid back dog. Unfortunately he developed epilepsy and he had to be put down when I was 12. I still think he was the best dog we ever had.

Don't tell me about the ribbing ...I hate rib but I am going to knit that Whisper if it kills me!
We had rain today, I got so wet on my bicycle to work but as you say summer rain is different.

Your description of the hard rain is like Southern CA rain and the soft summer rain in Pacific Northwest rain. How do you manage to get them both?

I am so sorry that bad weather spoiled your plans for the weekend. We had about the same cold- and wetness over here. We still do in fact. The only difference is that rain now comes in waves and dureng the weekend it was a storm from the beginng untill the end. Well good time to do other stuff, in my case painting the stairs, like some wonderfull knitting. I like that colour a lot, can we see it when it is all finished? Realy, weeds? Where? I can't see a thing! ^_^

That does look fine. I just finished knitting the mammoth task of Honeysuckle in Rowan magazine 45. I should really get round to putting it on Ravelry but I don't know if I ever will. The lace drove me nuts - I need a brain numbing easy task now!!
