Gravatar These are lovely photos, I love the one with the picture frame.

It is so interesting how once you start looking you suddenly see how such small things are so beautiful and how lovely it is to have everyday beauty surrounding each day.

Gravatar I agree completely with you. You have stated perfectly what has been in my head for several months. My camera has given me new eyes and a new attitude. Your photos describe your wonderful life and show your gratitude for your life and family. I enjoy sharing them with you across cyberspace.

Gravatar I too joined in with 365 - every day for 4 months I took one photo of 'stuff' and one of my children - I even made a couple of private blogs to share with my family. But then I just lost the habit. And I'm sad because it was a fun habit. I should start again. Right now.

Gravatar i think I have taken photos every day without joining the flickr group. It's very true that every little thing will look beautiful if you take the time to really look.

As for the previous post - Do you think I'm too old for a Weasley sweater?

Gravatar I agree with you so much. It is part of the attraction of blogging for me - I have had to learn how to use a digital camera, and it has made me look out for the things which give me joy, and to make a record of fleeting moments.

Gravatar I started trying to take a photo every day as a bit of DIY therapy - trying to make myself see the beauty in the world around me is a good way of warding off depression. I don't always manage it, but whenever I start again after a break I remember how good it is for me.

Gravatar So beautifully put. That was why I started blogging: to try to see and appreciate all the good things, as I do tend to get quite bogged down in all the day-to-day not-so-good... And it has made such a difference.

On a lighter note, I see you have the new Hugh! What do you think? And very intrigued by Tiffany's Table Manners.

Gravatar I love your photos. They're a lovely glimpse into your everyday life. I've been thinking about joining the 365 group for about a year now and the only reason I haven't is because I'm terrified I won't know/find what to photograph. I think I might just have to take the plunge.

Gravatar This post reminded me to stop and look instead of rushing and bustling. It's good to stop. I don't do enough of it when the little ones are awake. Thanks.

Gravatar Oh, I so enjoyed viewing your quietly happy photos. Very relaxing.

Gravatar Wonderful photos thanks for sharing.

Such a beautiful dog. Is it an English Setter?

Gravatar Thanks Rebecca for this reminder! I needed it...
Make it a lovely wintery weekend!

Gravatar Thank you for this lovely blog post, the atmospheric pictures and the wise words.

Gravatar Beautiful photos. It's nice to see the corners of your world.

Gravatar oh, rebecca... i love this post.
i, as well, love my 365 project.
although some days i can't seem to find inspiration...if i look hard enough it shows its beautiful self.
your photos are LOVELY! (as usual)

Gravatar Goodness, we really were on the same page on Tuesday! I did just the same, walked round my house taking pictures of things to remind myself of what I liked, what made me smile, and so on. Not quite a 365 project, but a powerful tonic!

Gravatar Hmmm, I started this project too... It is such a simple thing to do, yet I didn't finish it. Perhaps next year?

Your photos are wonderful.

Gravatar Thank you for this is exactly what I needed to hear to nudge myself out of my post wonderful vacation icks.

Have started the 365 project twice and doubt I've even gotten past 30 days. Maybe it's the thrill of the new year. So thinking end of October is a darn good time to try again.
