First I'll explain how and why it happens.
It is more than 70 000 people. More like 3 million or so. Now these 3 million don't all live nearby nor do they have hotels to fit them all so many carry their luggage with them. Every one of these people decided to make the pilgrimage so to complete it properly they have to do the Hajj before the deadline (guessing cause it says so in their holy book).
Looking at the problem in strictly natural terms. having three million people pass through a single point within a specified period of time would take a hell of a lot of planning and Infrastructure to keep it safe. And well... they don;t have the infrastructure in place. So these deaths happen every year. And every year it's prevetable but they don't implement safety measures. Maybe because it would be cost-prohibitive or for religious reasons. Who knows and who cares. It's to bad it's happening but it's their problem to fix. It has nothing to do with muslim vs christian
Yes, it does.
First, PEOPLE DIE doing this ON A REGULAR BASIS.
Second, the infrastructure has been advanced to keep up with the number of people. Second, major leading bigwigs in Islam have made proclomations to "expand the time frame allowed" to prevent this kind of event.
Third: IF THESE SO CALLED PEACEFUL LOVING PEOPLE cared for each other rather than selfishly throwing a rock at a certain point during a specific time of the day then they wouldn't trample their fellow believers TO DEATH to do it.
This is a key indicator to me of a religion not of GOD but rather of something anti-GOD. Thus I am back to asserting that Islam is a twisting from Satan.
