Great game, but the only reason the titans were able to tie it in regulation is because the NFL excessively fines people for hitting quarterbacks. The 4th and forever when Young was sacked/let go is a prime example.
I hate the Giants though, so it worked out for me (Da Boyz)
Nice site

Thanks Noah, Don't fault the NFL for protecting QBs. If you can't tackle a runner with the collar then you shouldn't be able to tag a QB after release either. The linemen have to discriminate on the side of holding back. These guys are entirely too large and too fast to be cut loose. It ain't like backyard ball when the guy is 300 lbs of dense muscle and can run as fast as they can.
Considering how little the equipment has changed versus the absolutely amazing speed, I'm amazed fewer are hurt.
BTW: I stopped in and your site definitely puts mine to shame. I should actually update my HTML, haven't done that since... March? I really want that boycott Citgo thing too you have!!

Hey Dave, sorry havn't been by in awhile
I have been attempting to teach myself html, so thats what you see all over my blog
The rules are not the same for QB's as to other players and the 'continuation' rule is the one I was talking about.
If a runner fumbles while you tackle him and you procede to throw him to the ground (unaware of said fumble) there is not penalty.
If a passer releases the ball WHILE you have ahold of him then you should be able to continue your tackle.
