ghee a 3-day waiting period for COP kills this bill? Come on carriers. How often do we all complain about those we perceive that are taking advantage of the workers compensation issue, yet when it comes down to it this bill gets shot down. The Bush admin was even going to let us have back some of the funds they have taken from us. Disappointed |

You state: |

Disappointed supervisor: Easy fix, take the clause out. Wot? |
|
yup, that's right-if they took away the 3 day cop, some employees would be penalized for reporting the injury. Isn't this against the OSHA requirements? Why would someone that suffered from a dog attack need to wait? Think about this stuff before you speak unkindly of your fellow, injured worker; someday it could be you! Employees still have to pay rent but without full pay because they got injured? NOT RIGHT! They didn't ask to get injured. It's no fun. |
|
What I wonder, is, how supervisors get "hurt"? How do they "stress out"? Just what IS "light duty" to a supervisor? Why? How? Whodunnit? |

Postal Reform has bought the farm yet again. |

Everybody who has never seen someone play the system by filing a claim, stand up. I didn't think so. Back in the day, you had a three-day waiting period and that was just to get regular comp - they didn't have 45 days COP then. While sad but true, some folks would have to use their leave but claims would surely drop. |
