Preemptive Karma

Gravatar That Iconoclast endorsement of Kerry is pretty good.

Gravatar Yep. And O'Reilly eating his words is too.

Gravatar What's great about you guys, Carla and Kevin, is that we can count on "Real News" ALL of the time...not just once in a while.

Gravatar Awww...thanks Patty! It's good to be loved. :)

Gravatar Thanks, Patty! We try to serve up what we want to get... Ya know, the Golden Rule...

:-)

Gravatar I find it interesting that N. Korea is being down played by so many if even reported. What the headline should be is... "While GW chased Phantom WMDs in Iraq, Look what N. Korea did"...

People say Saddam was bad... sure, easy case to prove... was he a threat? Not even close. Last night on Hannity and Colmes, the top Iraqi Nuclear guy that had the nuke plans in his backyard said very clearly that inspections since 91 killed the nuclear program... the expertise and desire to SOMEDAY start it up again was still there, but due to inspections and the close eye of the world, Saddam could not reconstitute it.

Yet, while GW and friends went on their bender to attack Iraq because 1) it was an easy scapegoat; 2) it took care of the guy who tried to kill daddy; and 3) it set the stage for Iran... N.Korea made Nuke Weapons and possibly even tested one.

Good call, I feel more safe with N. Korea having nukes and long range missiles... don't you?

Gravatar Saw the point made by former Defense Sec. William Perry that Iraq was a mistake, but N. Korea is W's blunder "of the century".

Or maybe it was all part of Karl Rove's plan -- "nukes in N. Korea? let's build that Star Wars Missile Defense Shield, NOW! That'll be $_____
billion, please..."

Gravatar Tony brings up a crucial issue with his reference to North Korea's long-range ICBM's. The much talked about missle that Saddam supposedly was working on in violation of UN sanctions had a range that was seriously insignificant in comparison to what North Korea possesses right now. And Saddam never did get his into production. North Korea on the other hand has demonstrated the accuracy and range of their's by firing one over Japan.

I think that the NeoCons don't really want to do anything about North Korea because that would eliminate the most significant rational for dumping untold million$ more into their pet Star Wars project. A nuclear North Korea serves a purpose for the NeoCons.

Gravatar Had fun with this post over on my Blog, but I am too much of a stoned slacker to get the trackback right. Look for the laughing doggies.

Gravatar And Ike's son is voting for John Kerry.

That makes Flightsuitboy 1 for 3 in the sons of former Republican presidents category. Assuming he is voting for himself.
