That sucks!
Get better soon.
I broke three toes on a coffee table leg once. I just taped them together and limped for a few weeks.
Not sure if that was the right thing to do or not.

I have one permanently crooked from being repeatedly broken a number of times.
Do me a favor and avoid Indianapolis.

KT- I already spent enough time in Indy this year. (My dad was in IU Hospital, next to Riley, when he died)
So, if you didn't have any disasters befall you in April, I think you make it!
I don't recommend travel to Evansville any time soon though!

I am sorry to hear that, those people and IU/Riley are a great team of medicos. Too bad your trip did not end better.
Not to make light of your trip up here but did you happen to ride the People Mover Train at IU hospital while you were here?

Dude, I rode the People Mover at least 2x a day! We stayed in the Methodist Towers hotel. The People mover was fun- including the time it stalled in the middle of the night!

I was the project architect for the stations. You actually got to use it as intended.
Was the creepy homeless guy riding along too?

LMAO!
Yes, creepy homeless guy *and* his buddy, smelly rasta, were fellow passengers more than once.
The people mover is a really neat system, and we never had any problems- sometimes, the ride was the best part of the day. Kudos to you! My only issue- that's a long a$$ed walk @ Riley....

Glad you enjoyed it.
We initially intended the train to go all the way down University and have the station at Riley but that would have meant an extra long walk to IU Hospital as well. When we designed it there was also talk of making it a loop instead of a point to point but that was something like an extra 20 million + land acquisition costs.
All in all it was a pretty successful project. It appears to work as intended although the homeless seem to have figured out that the security guys don't do much more that just watch.

Ouch! Really sorry to read (way late) you broke a toe. BTDT, it's no fun. --And sorry you've had such a rotten year.
