I KNOW your pain. Believe me, I've been there, done that, got the tatoo to prove it.
Not that hearing it makes it any easier to bear.
Man that sounds pretty awful - I've had bell's palsy once and that alone was enough to give me a great deal of uncertainty. We hit an age when we go to few weddings and more funerals, and it sucks.
Not a good year. . I had one of those. . lost a spouse, child and parent within six months, then the company I'd worked for went belly up taking my retirement with it.
It DOES get better, in a myriad of ways. Please hang in there.
