Completely disagree. While we're at it, let's ban ice cream sundaes because they're hard to resist and really bad for you. Also, lets ban cars because the exhaust fumes bother my nose and are bad if I breath too much of them. If I don't want to smell like smoke or breath unhealthy air, I have a choice to not go to smokey places.

Gravatar Um, read the post again. I dealt with all those arguments. There is no reason I should have to be inconvenienced because of someone else's drug addiction.

Gravatar Ah, Pro-Cynic run amok!!! If you don't like smoke, don't patronize bars and restaurants that allow smoking. Go somewhere else! There should be freedom of choice. If you like to drink and smoke go to a bar that permits it. If you don't like to smoke or can't stand the smoke, go to a bar that does not permit smoking. Its that easy. Nobody is forcing you into a bar or restaurant that permits smoking. This almost parallels the gun control argument. Remember, guns don't kill people, people use guns to kill people. Banning weapons at this late stage is unworkable. Just like banning smoking in bars, restaurants, casinos, etc. Freedom of choice and personal responsibly should make a comeback. We don't need the government telling us what we can and can't do all the time.

Gravatar Guns have a societal benefit in that they enable the human right to self defense. Smoking does not.

Gravatar cbg that is totally retarded.

Ever heard of third-hand smoke?

We are at the mercy of the smoker. Smoking is a clear violation of the Constitution of the United States of America.

I shouldn't have to choose to hang out with my friends or have lung cancer because some drug addict needs his or her fix on his or her cigarette.

It's absolutely disgusting. You may say that this is only an opinion, I say it is absolute fact.

Have you seen what exactly is inside of a cigarette?

I have parents who smoke, I throw away atleast three packs of their cigarettes away a week. I have every right to protect my personal health. You don't have the right as a smoker to smoke because you are endangering the health of others.

Gravatar Sone:
My poor anti-smoking fanatic; you simply have been smoking too much of the green stuff. If you don't like second hand smoke, don't go to a place that permits smoking. And throwing away your parent's cigarettes is not nice. Don't you realize that they are using their hard earned money at $4 a pack and you throw them out! Geez, if you were my kid, I'd have had you aborted for theft. Oh, and as for the 2nd amendment, thank god it is there otherwise we'd have no defense against criminals that should be shot anyway rather than incarcerated and further wasting taxpayer dollars on their "care and feeding". One bullet is a lot cheaper than a year's worth of incarceration for criminals. Have a nice day!!! You too, Pro-Cynic!
