I read your recommended post from a few days ago about Greenspan's retirement.

Everyone is waiting for a precipitating event to shake things up - his retirement may be it.

There is so much faith in one person, and now a lot of people are starting to ask more serious questions about the housing bubble, and now he sees local housing bubbles ...

It will surely be interesting to see how the tranisition is handled.
