Gravatar Greetings Prudent. I too share your suspicions about the recent GDP numbers and no longer look at the DOW daily changes except to get a picture of the volatility. The fact that money managers represent the large majority of the DOW volume makes it a less informative/interesting arena to watch than housing.
The spending continues unabated despite the $60/bl oil. Or is the across-the-board fall in auto sales a leading indicator that next quarter's "growth" will not be as spectacular?


Gravatar Judging by the numbers, you have the clear impression that Americans voted for socialists. What's great with USA is that they can spend, spend, spend because they have never to pay back anyting to the rest of the world.
