Instead of criticizing a single-point debt to GDP ratio like 2.8%, perhaps Marc and Toni could examine U.S. debt/GDP back in the 1980s (it was higher then). They don't mention the debt-to-GDP ratios of various European countries, but then they don't say whether they consider those nations economic basket cases, so I'll give them a free pass.
