Glad to see another Austrian starting his blogging on the Think About It campaign (although, technically speaking, I am blogging for the Netherlands).
The smoke / health / customer resistance issue is really a nice example of how disconnected the EU sometimes(?) can be from the peoples that actually form this union.
In the Netherlands, we have a site called www.hiermaghetwel.nl (loosely translated into: it's okay [to smoke] here) that maintains a list of all places where smoking is still allowed.
It is, I am sure, just one of many similar initiatives across the EU that tries to find solutions to a problem we cared little about before July 1st, 2008.
