I love letting the 4th be a "play it by ear day." That way, I am flexible for whatever crazy fun things come my way. Happy 4th! I'm sure you'll find something to do...if not, take a road trip to MN and hang out

You can come to the Bronx and help chaperone 35 high school students on Roosevelt Island for the fireworks. I couldn't think of anything I'd want to do less.

Hanging in/around my friend's pool probably drinking something tasty... then fireworks in downtown Stillwater. Very relaxing.

Going to a nearby town to celebrate by launching fireworks by a lake with a huge group of friends. Then the next day we'll be playing paintball, drinking and watching UFC, Griffin vs rampage! WOOHOO!

We're kind of up in the air. I had a horrible stomachache last night, and frankly, I'm not sure I spoke five words once I got home.
Lucky for me, I'm much better this morning. WH works till five. I'm thinking about whipping up some festive dinner (kielbasa, potato salad maybe? and other stuff. still on my first cup of coffee.), and then heading up to the Parkway to find an overlook to watch some of the firework shows. Free, except for gas, private, and we could luck out and find the right place to see three shows.
Not super exciting, but absolutely fun and relaxing.

D - Isn't the weather this weekend fabulous? Hope you and the wee one are enjoying lots of time outside. If you're still bored, you can come help Sweets and I unpack. Because that's pretty much what we've been doing all weekend.
