Gravatar i'm still hella impressed, d.

you? kick ass. seriously.

the hotness.

did you see what i did there? i said the hotness. i don't say things like "the hotness". i blame this on you.

Gravatar [i guess i should note that i am a huge college sports fan and i think it's fantastic to read about your determination and your talent and hard work. yuck. i'm sounding like my dad. nevertheless. nothing may be as crushing as those crucial misses but i guess it's true what they say about how it can shape you into a stronger person in some ways. because you're clearly that.

so ... do you have the cardinal going all the way in the big dance? and HELLO i have no idea why it took me so long to realize you went there. it may or may not have been my dream school in high school. we must discuss. along with about a million other things we need to shoot the sh*t about =)]

Gravatar I'm so terribly impressed. Wow. You clearly have a better understanding of the games beginning today than I do. Don't your Cardinals play later today (in a different sport, of course)? Good luck!

Gravatar Damn UCLA. That's exactly why I chose North Carolina in my bracket.

And I am uber-impressed at that soccer performance.

Gravatar damsel - it is a lesson in humility, the experience of falling short of what you think you want. and i look back on the whole thing with a bit of longing, wishing i could be one of those guys who can say 'i won it all' but i also look back and i know i was top-flight, in ways 'a' best player on arguably 'the' best team for more than a day...ring or no ring it's nice to know you've pushed the boundaries like that.

we MUST converse in legnthy ways about MANY fun topics.

(and i'm completely flattered by your sentiments; mutual as they are)

nilsa - i'm not sure how my experience translates to bball, but it excited me to watch in a way that brings back memories. and my competitive streak. and yes, i have a dog in the fight (and to answer damsel, no i didn't take them all the way; i'm a realist) and they play SOON.

Gravatar Aw, this brings back such great memories of drinking some sort of illegally-purchased grain alcohol out of a snapple bottle.

Killer boots, man.

I miss watching you play.

Gravatar I know nothing of the game but from the sound of it...you are awesome! Bet the rings are SWEET!

Soo....texans beat you junior yr, what school? Did I tell you I am a Texan??
You know all the pretty girls come from TX...or so I'm told!! haha

Gravatar I wasn't good enough for college b-ball but I started 3 years for the varsity team in highschool. Our team went to state my senior year, undefeated, and lost by 1 in double overtime. That was my last shot.
