In regards to picking a college and being frustrated with it all, I think the majority of us have had situations in which we didn't take full advantage like we should have. I'm pretty sure it's a human trait, especially one when we're younger (and kinda dumb)
Oh, and hi! Chicago? Thinking August, maybe, perhaps.
Coinciding w/Lollapalooza, of course.

Is it wrong that I find you saying 'fuck' extremely erotic?

This, dear D, is an incredibly insightful post. Partly about the person you were. But, more about the person you've become. I don't think any of us who met you at the blogger meet-up would've guessed how accomplished you were as a soccer player. You can't say that about many Division I athletes, who whether they make it their career or not, are sure to let you know how good they were. You wear humility well.

I am impressed, as Nilsa was, with your humility. And I cannot even imagine what it was like to go through all of that when you were just 17. I mean, the whole college thing was stressful enough - I can't imagine people other than my parents caring about (and enough to write about it). Eek.
And we still need to hang out sometime soon.
