I know this is an old post, but I randomly happened to find it. And I love it. I agree - I too operate under the assumption that the world will bring me to that person, and I don't need to spend time searching. And happiness is absolutely the end goal, of all endeavors, not just relationships. And finally, the sharks and minnows analogy was brilliant
