What I described at babalu doesnt even come close to expressing the sheer outrage I felt as I watched that episode. I had quit watching the West Wing a long time ago because of its obvious omissions of truth and total ideological slant, but last nights episode was just insanely false. |

People may disagree on the Politics of "The West Wing". Personally, sometimes I agree and sometimes I don't. In my mind, the fact is, is that this show is so much better than any of the other junk on TV anymore. "The West Wing" is the only show I make a point to watch anymore. No only do I find it entertaining, but I think it makes the viewer actually think about the important subject matter. The very fact that it opens up debate among viewers is proof that it is doing the job of opening minds as opposed to closing them as nearly every other TV show does. |

I'm not against shows like WW having a political bias. I don't agree with them. But that doesn't stop me from watching other shows that are biased in ways I find disagreeable. I just can't stand Mr. Sheen. You gotta admit the view of Castro the other night was packed with outright disinformation. Val has a personal grudge against this glorification of what he sees clearly as a wretched tyrant. I don't like it, either. I remember the Cold War. |
