I shouldn't have to point out what many already have at "Babalu" - George W. Bush has been President for more than 4 1/2 years. He has been the Chief Executive and Commander-in-Chief that entire time (in name, at least) and has had ample opportunity to change this policy.
Eventually, convservatives' childish need for Boogeymen is going to blow up in their face when it becomes clear to the American people that those responsible are Republicans.
The blame game will only get you so far before the only one left to point a finger at is you.

Pardon me all to hell, Kyle, but I was referring to one particular piece of bad policy. For the record, I think Clinton was not a very good President. Among Presidents I can remember well, he ranks quite low, and I remember Ike.
If you think I am a Republican apologist, you should think again. Nor do I despise the Democrats. I actually like Sen. Ben Nelson better than I like Sen. Chuck Hagel. If I despise anything it is totalitarian government of any flavor.
I see the Marxist, Fabianist, Socialist, Fascist, Communalist and hyper-egalitarian Utopian flavors of totalitarian government to be the biggest political threat to my peaceful existence.
As for things becoming clear for me someday, I'm an old cat with a lot of miles. Somehow, Kyle I get the feeling that you have more somedays coming than I do. You shoulda known me when I hung with the SDS! I've had many a someday since then.
Perhaps, someday, you'll get over being a boringly doctrinaire, dogmatic Democrat party flack.

Kyle,
It's a secret, but I'm not really a Republican. I'm not a member of any political organization except the NRA. I can't fully identify with any of the current parties, and I'm too poor to send any of them any money.
I consider myself a loyal Nebraskan, and bear allegiance to the United States only inasmuch as Nebraska remains in the Union.
I am a live and let live cat. There should be a place at the table for everyone, as long as they don't try to eat off of my plate.
I feel bad about trying to insult you in my first reply to your comment; I'm sure you aren't a boring person. Sorry I said so.
I do find debate that consists of repeating slogans and talking points to be generally unproductive. But this is America! Good luck with your Democrat thing.
