Somehow, the words witch hunt and mccarthy-ism keep springing to mind.
Our government has made it their buisness to quash any kind of uprising. Think: Ruby Ridge-Kent State etc.
I have concern for these people but carrying the Mexican flag in protests against sending them back to Mexico is just a bit much.
Don't be stupid...
(1) Immigrants come to this country because FREE TRADE has impoverished their countries. If you shop at WALMART, you cannot protest illegal IMMIGRATION! Places like WalMart support illegal immigration by demanding Free Trade! So, don't burn flags and don't hate Mexicans if you survive because of Free Trade!
(2) Americans are racist and, because of this, are afraid of Mexicans (and anyone else that isn't WHITE!). If you're a racist fuck, you cannot participate in open discussion regarding Immigration!
(3) If you want Mexicans in this country to do manual labour that Americans are over-qualified for, then YOU HAVE TO ALLOW THEM EQUAL RIGHTS AS AMERICAN CITIZENS! You can't have it both ways! God Damn it!

I guess I'm not worried about the ones who are here as much as I'm concerned about the rest of the world who's watching this on TV. If we go too easy on the Mexicans 'immigrants' will be flying in from Timbuktu. But man oh man, I'd like to see the plan that stands a chance of being carried out for any length of time before the attention-challenged public gets tired of it.
Hammer must think that Mexico was once a worker's paradise before we(?) did something to screw it up.

Hammer, there isn't anything wrong with Marxist Thought that can't be cured by boiling it down and throwing it away. You can't blame the woes of the world on capitalist free trade. It isn't that simple.
When and if you learn some honest history and gain a better grasp of economics, Hammer, you will see how foolish and immature your comments make you out to be. Meanwhile, good luck with your Puritanical Progressivism.
