Are you really serious in equating something being genetic to being unavoidable? First of all, the article says partly genetic. Also, anyone who knows anything about genetics (including the fine folks who wrote the article you cited) understand that because something is genetic doesn't mean that it's an excuse. Take credit for making that illogical leap yourself.

An illogical leap, eh? Are these by any chance related to leaps of faith or jumps to conclusions? I think what the post does would better fit into the class of illogical somersaults.
