The atheist french & germnan have the right idea(boycott). Ever since the palestinians capped the Krauts in the `72 Munich games, interest has waned regarding the Olympics.

Boycott the games, don't go, don't watch. There is no real sport possible in the midst of oppression.
I'm with you, Ziva. It is too easy to come up with excuses and apologies for totalitarian oppression. The hard line is the best line with communists and their ilk.
Some are inclined to keep the Spirit alive, hiding the fact that it really is a PC/PR thingy. UK, America and Canuck ski's are going to follow it through.
The human rights concern is appropriate, and now is the time to show some boycott back bone. One of the reasons the US is IN, is because we owe China.
This crap should have been addressed(UN) a long time a glow!
