Spring clean your computer! What a brilliant idea! I also put my photos on a cd or dvd. This way, I can take out and peruse them when I want, if I never made prints of them.

I just got all my photos copies onto a cd..thats about it. I need to go through my computer too..its been giving me lots of problems. What does defragmenting your computer do for you?
Carey - here's a wikipedia definition: defragmentation is a process that reduces the amount of fragmentation in file systems. It does this by physically reorganizing the contents of the disk to store the pieces of each file close together and contiguously. It also attempts to create larger regions of free space using compaction to impede the return of fragmentation.
Basicly, when you delete files from your computer, the hard drive becomes fragmented leaving a lot of programs all over the place. The defragmenting helps put all the like programs and files together. (I think!) I do know for sure that it's a good thing to do!
