Do not think badly of me for saying it. Perhaps it is a harsh thing to quote at a time like this, but it gave me peace, once, when I too lost my loved ones. I've never had a father, but I had my great-grandmother, who helped raised me, and my grandfather, who was the male figure of aspiration for me. When I lost them, I drew strength from the fact that life must be so. The time we have on this earth is all the more precious in that we are not endless, and the good times all the greater in contrast to the bad.
