No Danielle didn't get me into V.C. Andrews...I got into it long before...devouring them pathetically and telling my mom that they were *summer reading*...I went to the library so frequently the librarians knew my name (if only I was joking...)
I just happened to mention it to Danielle and she introduced me to wonderful world of fametracker message boards in which hundreds of others like us share our secret shame...
...they were cringeworthy books though, weren't they? damn there was some sick shit in there...and we read them at such an impressionable age...i'm sure we've all been psychologically warped by them..but that doessn't stop me from wanting to go re-read them again ..=)
