Also, you do realize that economically teachers are worse off getting paid regularly during the summer than they would be if they got their yearly salary up front and could earn and compound interest on it, right?

I thought you'd already quit? Why don't you just quit Leona's (or try to get fired--it would make for better blog entries, even if it might cost you a reference) and get a waitressing job at a fancy restaurant where the customers and staff might be nicer and you'd make a LOT more? Which you could then give to your parents/creditors.
