Wanker? Uh, try mother-fuggin free thinkin'rebel. Not to mention, that the contrast just accentuates my super rad personality.
Miniature Pinscher on amphetamines....I guess that is tolerable, so long as she is not mean spirited.

I think the turnover rate is probably about standard for a restaurant like Leona's. I've only worked at the HP location so I don't know how different things are elsewhere. HP supposedly is the biggest moneymaker, but also gets the lowest service ratings because the waitstaff has attitude problems. Which is funny because my coworkers (most of them, anyway) are the best part of working there.
Are you following now? If so, good luck: there's no way to avoid looking like a wanker hovering around in your white collared shirt. At least you survived four hours with Jacquie, who is like a miniature pinscher on amphetamines. If you stick around you'll have the privilege of her very loud and obnoxious presence at waitstaff meetings every couple of months.

GNNAAARL!!!!!! I reasons beyond my control I was forced to find immediate employment, and ended up at Leonas. Obviously it is too soon to conclude anything. But what is the deal? Is there a high turnover rate? Does it just suck ? Are all the leonas the same or is one just different. I mean I've eaten at leonas for years but never worked for them. The Jacquie lady, is she a nazi or just a hyper italian? You seem interesting, so I guess it can't be that bad.
Oh and in case you were wondering, I am not the real Jeff Spicoli. Sorry to dissappoint.

Killer Blog!!!!!!!
Recently acquired employment at Leona's
(not hyde park) led me to stumble across your blog searching for Leona horror stories on Google. Needless to say no horror stories about working for Leonas were found, but your blog has kept me partially entertained for the last few days! Keep shredding at the Regenstein!

You call me the extrovert to beat all extroverts in your post a long time ago. Am I tranforming into you? I totally pretend I'm not home when people call. When I'm alone, I'm relieved. I avoid the mall.
However, I can handle working in a nightclub, just not going to them.
Actually I think it all comes with being a writer and having a boyfriend. Anything that gets in the way of those two things can be a bother.

Also, in response to the post that you linked to: I DEFINITELY wilt when alone. I can't STAND being alone. EVER. I always get on the phone right away if no one's home because I just HAVE to be talking to someone.

I thought the article was funny and made me think very much of you, Danielle. But I must admit, as the quintessential extrovert, I was kind of offended by some parts. I'm not gifted? WTF?
