I also use two accounts but for different reasons, one private (@tonzylstra) but for both business and personal things, and one public (@ton_zylstra) for events only so that they show up on twitter walls on these events, and so that I can interact with other participants at the event better.
After each event some of those temporary contacts (as we happen to find ourselves in the same space at the same time) carry over into my private account after the event (much like some of them end up in other social platforms as contacts, preserving context)
