Gravatar I have to tell you, i have been watching "The Universe" dvd's with my husband, and this thing that is happening to these galaxies is not pretty, even if it looks cool. I wonder if they have black holes smashing into one another, spaghettifying everything in it's wake. *shudders*... i have been toally freaked out watching this series, and have a whole new respect for our own dangerous galaxy.

Gravatar I wonder how that would affect the stars being pulled?

If there were people orbitting them, would they notice it? Or would it only be once they reached our level of technology that they'd onserve it?

Gravatar Just don't stand in the way.

Gravatar Ah, this must be my galaxy of Pisces then. Tug 'o War sounds about right.

Gravatar Boy if you lose at galactic tug of war you really lose.

Gravatar lol Xmichra,
in the grand scale of things we are open to the elemenys just like ants face a downpour that washes them away

Fortunately most of the amazing forces at play in the universe, only serve to create the idyllic galaxy, solar system and world we live in.

Gravatar lol Crushed,
all to do with mass. If we were large or massive enough, we would feel the same pull stars do, and have the same attractive pull. You are a star!

Gravatar lol Nessa,
wouldn't think of it
So how is your weekend going?

Gravatar Aaah Abigail,
I thought so
I sort of had a feeling you might be from out there

Gravatar Yep Dr John,
no messing - only one man, star or galaxy left standing in these situations. In this case two out of three ain't bad. I wonder if finally (at an even later stage) there will only be one of those two left

Gravatar I would love to have a galaxy named after me.

Gravatar It just goes to prove the old adage, "Two's company, three's a crowd."

But if two can shred and cannibalize the third party, that's pretty scary...

Gravatar Reminds me of teenage girls. They do the exact same thing sometimes. However ugly the situation, they make it look too good to not watch.

Don't mind me, I come to your blog for inspiration when in search of new wallpapers. Beautiful shots.

Gravatar That's really interesting. I wonder if anything has happened et.

Gravatar Love the professionalism of your astronomy field.
