QG depends on the size and the number of extra dimensions. So even if the energy of LHC is not high enough to produce plank black holes in four dimensions, it can be large enough to predict holes in 9 dimensions

Hi alex,
the LHC only detects in four dimensions, strings and any other dimensions are still only mathematical calculations.

lol Abigail, blowing soap bubbles, chocolate aero bubbles, honeycombe bubbles. Sometimes seems the Universe is one big fair of bubble gum bubbles and airy candy floss

Gee Quasar9, who are you? Is all of this somehow related to your work? I confess, half of it makes my brain hurt, but the other half is magnetically facinating.. What on earth got you into all of this?

Hi Carol, some like to blog about their pussy, some about the latest fashion show. Some blog about wars and some war about blogs. Some like to tell tall stories some like to tell fairy tales.
Me, I just like to blog about stars the galaxies, hurricane gales, high energy physics tales and everything that in the vast universe breathes & exhales.

Hi Quasar,
I am happy to see my post pasted here, but I think the introductory part was part of the package
Cheers,

lol Tommaso,
your introduction certainly generated a heated response and a cross section of intense comments at your place.
Most of it a GUT reaction. Difficult to separate those who were being serious or critical on matters of vacua from those simply blowing hot air and having fun. All highly amusing pp humour.

Hi alex,
it will certainly produce literally volumes of information
What do you predict will be the most significant revelation from the most expensive particle physics experiment on Earth

Sundaram's model is now called the Randall model. Few of her students think she is capable of even solving the problems in D'Inverno's book on GR. I wonder where these "original" ideas are from. But who cares as long as the gang controls the media. Afterall, we have seen plagiarist Gross get the Prize for something he did not do.
