Galaxies in collision. Wonder how all would look if we can get real time images! But then again, much of the dynamics and physics of it would be lost if we fast forward time. The canvas of the universe, though it makes up the whole picture, we cant observe the whole yet...

So, shall we lay bets on who will win this billions-year bout? I put my money on M81. The richness of those spiral arms will triumph. And to think they said rich, spiral arms would be M81's downfall.

Talk about dangerous attraction! I think I've met a number of couples like that, i.e. as they were drawn together it set their internal workings into a turmoil. Oh, well. This is the stuff of which poems are made...or larger galaxies.
