I don't know the identity of the person yet . . . but with the budget crisis facing the State of California, there are going to be major cuts and layoffs. So I would ask Santa to spare the employee who needs his/her job the most but is slated for layoff. It is such a hard thing when organizations go through the tough times that a looming and unavoidable . . .

A few years ago, my sister lost her husband and baby girl in a tragic accident. She and her son survived. She's remarried to a wonderful man, but they've been unable to have kids.

I'd ask for her to become pregnant so they could have a child together.

This one's easy! I would ask Santa for a soul mate for my cousin. She works and has a long commute down from the mountains and into the city. She needs someone who truly values and loves her for who she is...and could help her carry tons of firewood up the hill to her house!
