Heart of Rachel

Gravatar ♥ Thank you everyone for sharing the little sacrifices you make for your children and special people. Being a mom certainly involves a lot of those little sacrifices but I know each one is worth it.

Gravatar Mommy lives really revolve around children. Cheers Rachel. You're such a terrific mom.

Gravatar No kids...yet! Just hubby and I. I moved to Australia after we married and sacrifice a lot while waiting until we move back to America. It is worth it, though!

Gravatar i go without alot of things I could use cause I want my kids to have before me

Gravatar I don't know that I would say I sacrifice much...anything I give up is usually VERY worth it!

Now if they were still babies I would tell you I was sacrificing my sleep!

Gravatar i think 'LOVE' it is more than the sacrifice. because we love them so much. and that is priceless.

blessings!

Gravatar I watch all the TV shows and DVDs DS wants and have to DVR everything I want to watch!

Gravatar I stay up late with my husband 11:30/12:00 When I would rather be in bed between 10 and 10:30 every night and then I get up around 5 with our youngest. Somedays it is really hard, but I remind myself that all to soon our little and not so little ones will have homes of their own. So I choose to enjoy every second. :D

Gravatar I have peanut butter and jelly for lunch every day with my son because he won't eat anything else (for lunch) and if I make myself something else he wants to eat my food instead, even though if it was his food, he wouldn't eat it. Go figure.

Gravatar As a parent you always make sacrifices. I am staying home to be with our boys. If I was still teaching funds would not be as tight and worry would not be there as much. It has been worth every moment, even if it is hard some days.

Gravatar Oh, my son would love those Ben 10 figurines! We have him trained, though, and he thinks McDonald's is gross! LOL! That's probably because he's never tried it! There's something about that restaurant that just attracts kids like magnets!

As for sacrifices I've made, probably walking around looking not-so-great. I always get myself ready last, because I'm helping everyone else get out the door. Sometimes, that means I run out of time to make myself look as good as I could. Oh well. Small sacrifice, as you said! :)

Happy Aloha Friday!

Gravatar Mine isn't in the way of food... mine is TV. I sit through shows like Phenas & Ferb, on Disney, or Super Why, Barney & Dragon Tales. The title sequence songs get stuck in my head & I want to scream!

Gravatar We eat McDonald's way too much around here with our busy lives!

Gravatar Hi Rachel, I do the McDonalds when my Granchildren visit me, "Nans treat"But peronally im not a Macca's fan.. Yuk

Gravatar We always order Happy Meal. Ganda toys nila and the smiles on our kids' faces after buying the too-pricey-for-us meals are super worth it! Di na din kami masyado order quarter pounder and big mac. Pero would love to.

Gravatar We choose the restaurants that give free balloons over the restaurants that don't have high chairs. ;)

Gravatar hehe, reminds me of the times i had kiddie meals too so i can bring home toys to my nephews! :D

Gravatar That is a good question!

Well with children you make many sacrifices! We do the McDonald's thing too lol Perhaps when the kids are older we will go to more sit down restaurants! We curtail what we watch on tv.. where we go.. how long we shop.. lol
