Gravatar Hey Rachel! Thanks for the Comment on my new blog... I love the way you have your blog laid out with the photos and all, looks beautiful.

Great personal touch as well! Oh, and that fruit looks delicious :-)

Gravatar and that's how tomatoes are grown. very useful narrows!

Morning Sniffles

Gravatar ♥ Thank you everyone for visiting my photo hunt this week. Looking forward to next week's theme: Heavy. Enjoy the hunt. ♥

Gravatar That looks great. I really miss the taste of real tomatoes. The stuff we get in the grocery store has no flavor.

Gravatar I haven't real thought much about tomatoes now but I sure like them fresh from the garden and eat them like an apple.

Gravatar We often see that over here, too, but instead of tomatoes, they use it for strawberries.
Those tomatoes look so luscious! (Just had tomatoes with itlog na pula for breakfast at siempre with Vigan longganiza. Hmmmm, ymmmm,ymmmmmm.........
Send me pics on your next harvest.

Gravatar hmm you can almost taste those tomatoes :-)

Gravatar I wondered if this was related to your "green" entry from a few days ago. Seems like it would keep the weeds down in an eco-friendly way! :-)

Lovely Nature Photos.
Have a Great Weekend!

Gravatar Whatta nice greeny entries you have here, Rach! When i was a little girl i used to pick tomatoes in our neighbor without asking permission, lol! I love tomatoes a lot and even now i cannot resist tomatoes i love to munch it. Happy weekend!
NARROW FEED THE ROAD

Gravatar this makes me want to go back to my roots, the farm.

Gravatar This is what i want to have, my own produce. Not as grand as this but in a smaller scale of course. Is this near where you live, Rach? I'm seeing Makiling again, is it Makiling?

Have a great Sunday :)

Gravatar Awesome!
Great blog, love the pics.

Gravatar Narrow strips of plastic, eh? I never knew they did that, but how smart!

Those tomatoes look de-lish!

Gravatar Great choice for the theme... we grow tomatoes every year, but not in that quantity! Gave me a craving for Mom's homemade pasta sauce...

Gravatar nice photos! thanks for the visit. :)

Gravatar Very neat take on the theme. I haven't noticed if they use those plastic strips here. I will have to look the next time I pass a farm.

Gravatar I have never heard of plastic mulch before, very interesting. That looks like such a pretty place with the mountains in the background.

Gravatar I say tomatoes...you say TOMAA TOES..hehe Great shots for the hunt this week. Nice colours too.

Gravatar Oh YUM! My mouth is now watering for some home grown tomatoes! What a great version of Narrow too!

Gravatar Oh... I love to go to the farm and buy fresh produce. These tomato plants look neat. I haven't had success with my tomato plants so far. They died before they could bear fruits. :(

Gravatar These are all great photos :) Happy photo hunting!

Gravatar I will be growing all sorts of goodies at the allotment this year :)

But thats surrounded by houses and grim skies not lovely like that :)

(yay you have joined entrecard)

Gravatar hi rach...great take of the theme. And nice photos of tomatoes.

Gravatar Hi Rach, I love tomatoes esp. when the dish is fried fish, chicken or tocino. It's a must-buy in my grocery list. I'm gonna ask hubby to plant tomatoes in his farm soon...Very nice pics...

Gravatar Very nice narrow photos! Love the greens..:D Check out mine if you got a chance!

Gravatar This is a great way for anti weed. I just saw these plastic sheets at my friend's chilly plantation yesterday. They really do serve their purposes well :)

If you have the time, do check out my another interpretation at http://crizlai.blogspot.com/2008...ers- narrow.html

Gravatar wow wow nice photo happy weekend!

Gravatar I like this choice for our "narrow" theme. Fun seeing the growing in process. Wish I could eat some of yummy tomatoes.

Gravatar Sarap ito na may suka at tuyong pusit!:) Mmmmmmm

Gravatar Farming takes patience obviously but look at the produce. You know that I love tomatoes and onions too. :)

Gravatar I adore home-grown tomatoes. The ones we have here in the grocery stores are tasteless. We don't plant here until April or May. I can't wait!!!
(The background of the farm reminds me of the botanical gardens we saw in Hawai'i. How I love the tropics!)
~~~Blessings~~~
Gravatar Farming sure is hard work, but upon harvesting all the hard work seems so worthwhile!
Look at those tomatoes!! :)
Gravatar waw... you made the photos look so attractive! So green and fresh! So... can I have some tomatoes, please? :blush:
Gravatar Great idea for the theme. I enjoyed watching them grow. :)
have a great weekend.
Gravatar That's a great set of photos for this theme. Why are they picking the tomatoes when green?
Have a great weekend Rachel
Gravatar I had thoughts, once, of doing that in a garden. But I'm too lazy to have a garden. And no dirt. The mountain is all rock, no topsoil. But it looks like a really smart idea.
Gravatar I love tomatoes!
Beautiful farm!
Gravatar Mmmm... I see these plastic rows all over the place... and I love tomatoes sooooo much. I eat them like apples!!! I can never get enough of them!
Gravatar Those are wonderful shot on the farm and great for the narrow theme. Hope you have a good weekend.
Gravatar Great choices for this week!!
Happy weekend.
Gravatar Great shots. Perfect for this week's theme! Happy weekend
Gravatar I've seen people putting plastic in between rows in a garden like that and it's really a good idea to control the weeds. I'm missing my garden so much right now but it will be a few months yet before I can plant anything in it! lol Have a wonderful weekend dear Rachel! xox
