I detest typical weddings. I don't know how any of the major players, especially the bride, can take themselves seriously. So, I never wanted one of these weddings for myself and didn't have one for that reason, not just for the sake of not blowing so much cash. I pity any man who gets engaged to a woman who wants to put on this kind of show. Yes, a small intimate wedding is so much more meaningful. I just hope I never get invited to another big wedding; maybe this rant will help ensure I won't.
It's easy to get caught up in the nonsense that other people tell you. I had to fight off the urge to do what other people told me was "right". It was The Mister who kept asking me: "Is that really what you want?", and then I'd come to my senses. There's a lot of pressure from sideroad people. People who aren't even all that important to your own wedding that can make you feel like you should be doing something that you're not. Like what you decided is not enough. I fell for some of it myself

I'm sorry, I just think the whole gigantic wedding thing is a joke. Like Mama says: "It's about the life, not about the day. I've known plenty of people who had huge weddings who are divorced today.

Ok, I hate my hair most days, too, but not to the same extent that screaming bridzilla does. I've even cut my own curly hair but I've never freaked out like that. What the fuck is her problem?
This is not a normal situation...this is someone who worked herself up into a frenzy. She could have just pinned her hair up and it would have been fine. Instead, she bawled her head off and took scissors to her hair so that she ended up looking like the lunatic she is. I like how she chopped her own hair off and then yelled at her bridesmaids for letting her do it. Someone should have taken a taser to her.
How do you get the time to do all this posting?
I try to put something up once a day. Doesn't always work that way though

Now there's a question about whether it was real or not
There is a story on the front of today's Star about it being faked by an actress. And after I first watched it, all night I kept asking myself, "Self, who the fuck brings and/or leaves scissors laying around in the bathroom while getting dressed up for a wedding?" That part bugged me the most. She didn't even have to look for them, they were just there magically.
i have also read that the hair Bridezilla was just an actress...still pretty funny
