i'm so glad i got gas this past weekend...especially out here in LA, Los Angeles, not Lousiana. Although i did pay $3 but for the good stuff. I wonder how much it is out here. I don't pass a gas station on the way to work.

Ugh. I don't want to think about fuel prices. We drive a large SUV (we have a family of seven going on eight) and it runs on diesel. We get about 16 MPG and we're now convinced it's time to buy an inexpensive economy car that will get twice as many MPGs for consolodated trips to the grocery store and doctor appointments. Long trips are out--but we've been "grounded" before so it won't be a total shock.

All I can say is, I'm glad I already bought my airline tickets for my October trip and our prepaid kerosene for the coming winter. Now I'm hoping they'll honor the prepaid prices!
