Gravatar I loved my midwife too, over the crabby OBGYN.

Congrats on your pregnancy, this is my 1st visit here.

Gravatar congrats! I am sorry I missed the drama.. but I am so glad you went with your gut. (worrying can make you lose weight.. or was that her intended purpose.. the stupid OBGYN!!) Keep yourself healthy babe and I'll think good thoughts for the baby.

Gravatar You are going to be great. Midfives are the way to go. I had high risk pregnancies so was denied the use of midwives, but they were my first choice every time. I had three (count em 3!) natural childbirths despite the ridiculous hospital procedures and got the hell out of the hospital as soon as possible-home and quiet and food and rest. Oh, by the way, I gained a fair amount with each pregnancy and by month 3 of breastfeeding on demand had lost it all while being able to out eat two grown men! You are going to be great and you are doing the right thing-listen to your inner voice. AND, lol, yoga is too exercise. Loved your baby suprise jackets too.

Gravatar I once had a five hour glucose tolerance test - I could not believe the results were normal because I thought by the time the test was over I was going to die! The fact that I managed to get to the college dining hall (which was right next door) was a miracle.

Best of luck with the midwives. I am also a big rainbow fan - I am a complete sucker for color. Won't this child have the loveliest clothes!

Gravatar Thanks for your nice comment. It was really awesome, knowing that every thing I listed was "normal" and not "freakish." Wishing you the best for your upcoming delivery!
