Cipher.... It's not Vista is that scary.... But with the good hardware config, its realy worth to try it. But am not sure about compatability of Vista in MAC. Since the VISTA RC1 is free to use till June 2007, its worth to install it rather goin' for WIN XP license. After that the person can decide to go for WIN VISTA or WIN XP.

Windows Vista Beta 2: Simply Sucks. OS Installation itself takes 2 hrs +. Very slow. without dedicated graphic card the machine is damn bloody slow.

I tried to open the COMMAND window in full screen (ALT + ENTER)... the system hang. I installed Dedicated graphic card also results the same.

Windows Vista RC1: Good. OS Installtion is faster than the XP. Graphic is same without the graphic card. So I installed 256 MB Graphic card. Once I installed AERO 3D is automatically enabled. The graphic is damn good with AERO 3D. The Operation speed is quite good compare to Beta 2.

For Beta 2 or RC1... The drivers will be downloaded if you turn on the WINDOWS AUTOMATIC UPDATE. Don't try to install the WIN XP Drivers. Microsoft is still under the proccess of updating the signatures for the OLD Chipsets. Hopefully this problem will be eliminated in full release.

Sorry for my late response dude.... The Laptop is nice but, not the place you put. athu seri Laptop pakkathula ethukku Soap dabba.... (Don't tell me that is the mouse for the Laptop). I never use MAC before, but worth to play around for sometimes. I tried Windows Vista Beta 2 and RC1.

Now, that's one sexy laptop. I too thought hard about the Mac when I was shopping around for laptops but finally, settled for a Fujitsu instead. Though I haven't had any problems with Fujitsu, still rue my decision of not to go for a Mac. Good decision and have fun
