Another good one, thanks. GNXP's rockin'.
But did I get this right -- did someone (er, someone with knowledge, cred, expertise, experience, etc) just say there might be something to group selection? Just like some of us fuzzy-minded, girly, non-expert, impressionistic amateurs have thought all along?

I couldn't get to his commentary on the Jensen paper from the link you gave to Google Scholar. Is there an online copy somewhere I'm missing?

Michael, notice the language that he used is pretty much stock sociobiology language. He's not saying anything other than typical kin selection is at work, just that kin-selection can result in the phenomenon of interdemic selection. which seems to be a totally different proposition.
good interview, really liked his answer to question 7.

Interdemic, schminterdemic -- the bigshot is saying that group selection is (or most likely is, or at least might be) happenin'. Current score: Chimpz with typewriters One, hotshot young science dudez, zero.
My nominee for your next 10 questons subject: David Sloan Wilson. Here's a fun article about him.
