Having actually read some Durant, if that is really Gress' description of him, then Gress is a moron.

In his Story of Philosophy Durant ommitted scholasticism and relegated Hegel to a brief appendix. He explained why: he though Hegel was overrated, and he had been forced to read too much scholastic theology in school.
