As someone relatively new to the game, I would be interested in finding papers or web-interviews of people against HapMap and GWA? I assume it was old linkage people, and people who were worried about losing funding to these big projects, but I would appreciate some citations or links.

I have to say that 1996 paper by Risch and Merikangas has to be one of the most cited papers in the field!
