Depends. I could see making this sort of decision for my little blastocysts. Not only might it be easier when they are small, but if they grow up unhappy they may lack judgment to see the benefits of the procedure. Parents want the best possible future for their children, after all. I think this thought experiment is particularly interesting if you think about personality rather than physicality. Would most anxious parents like their children to be less neurotic and more confident? You bet.
Maybe teenage rebellion will lead to kids opting to get an attitude adjustment that reverses the process.
