Hello Minta Marie. How are you today? It is very important to check each story, though. I understand I am even suggesting you check my facts! But that is how you will know if someone is credible.
We left the print and noise media, because they were not telling us the truth, let alone the whole truth. We must be careful not to take everything we read at face value. After a while though, you get a general idea about the people you visit on a regular (daily, weekly, etc) basis.
Other than that, I have been researching and studying this for many years. I only began blogging about them in 2005 (I think). You will find much info about Darfur, Sudan, genocide, etc. (check by labels in my blog search) at Causes of Interest.
There are a few other people that write/wrote with me. I started this site so that I didn't have to keep going from on of 8 sites to the next! lol. Have a lovely day!

This is just the kind of post we need most as we go into the future. The more connected, relevant knowledge we have the better armed we will be against those people who want to destroy us.
The blogosphere will be one of the key weapon collections we have as we try to clarify who it is we are and what it is we have to do.
Thanks for putting so many things together. I learned a lot this morning.

Yes, I noticed that as well. I've written about their inaction before, and they've even hung up on me when I try to question them on what bills they are trying to get through Congress to help put a stop to this genocide. That isn't so funny.
Samarritan's Purse has been in the South of Sudan for many years, and the stories about the atrocities, the bombings, the fires, etc. are unspeakable. That is why they need to be spoken about! Just because we are Christians...no! Because WE are Christians...every Christian should be made aware. Remember, whatever you do for the least of these...
Thank you, Ox, for stopping over. Have a wonderful day! Oh yes, and thank you for your kind words.

Great post. It is interesting to note that the couple of million dead, displaced, enslaved for the first 20 years of this conflict involved mainly Christians and traditional African religions... and the Black Caucus in Congress didn't say peep... until Islamic Darfur became the center of the atrocities. Hmmm?

Dear Debbie, Do not be too concerned. We are staying within the Republican party. We are just laying down the law...OUR law...OUR Founders Law. Check it out. I think you'll like it.
BTW, I'm not one of those kooks that thinks by voting for someone else or simply not voting is a good thing. I believe in building up from within.

Great article Rosemary. We need to look back and review what really happened. So many lessons to learn from history. Sudan is such a complicated place and situation.
(on another note: A Conservative Party? I've heard talk, but now sure if that's the answer. Ideal situation: the Republicans take a turn back to their roots. I'm not too encouraged though.)
