I agree with you as far as free speech goes. What gives one group of people, no matter who they are, the power to dictate what another group of say just as long as they are not talking about overthrowing the government? THEY DO NOT!

I guess the USA is the only country who has freedom of speech enshrined in our Bill of Rights. The 13 colonies would not have adopted the constitution if the bill of rights was not promised to be amended to the constitution.

We had a heck of a time getting our country together. I do not understand how everyone expects these dear Iraqis to move in lightening speed! It took us over 13 years!

Canada: Freedom of Speech succumbing to Kangaroo Courts of the Human Rights Commission

Proceedings against Ezra Levant are nothing short of ridiculous, but let's consider the implications for moderate Muslims. This "investigation" will further divide Muslims and non-Muslims in Canada. It will give credence to radicals' claims that the West is at war with Islam. It will antagonize non-Muslims and moderate Muslims will be pushed towards radicalization. Regardless of the outcome, once again Islamists skillfully manipulated Dhimmi justice system and came out as clear winners. Thank you, Human Right Commission!
